Here for sale is a John Broadwood and Sons Mahogany Cottage Grand Piano No. 328.

The piano measures 193cm (6'' 4") in length & 135cm (4'' 5") in keyboard end width. The end of the piano width is 60cm (1'' 11.5"). The Height of the piano is 92cm (3'').

The keyboard lid opens in two places.

Stamped on the wood on the insde of the piano is J (crown) S as can be seen from the photograph.

The number on the base under the music stand and candlelarbra stand is 1407 - H. Darling (Mar 14/1), plus a signature beginning A.M

The piano is working fine, although may need a little TLC;

One hammer is missing & two are dead

The piano will need tuning

The Lid Prop is missing

This piano was made around 1878 at a guess. Broadwood begun making cottage grands in 1862, and this is number 328.
